Mining gems tend not to be something most people look for but the ratio would be about 1fg:1.5k.

Wouldn't the fact that this job not being common at all dictate that there shouldn't be a price on it? The price "guide" should be giving prices that have been established as norms overtime, not something it thinks would be fair.

Easy to get but extremely hard to find someone who has ever played this or actually knows what they are doing.
So, you'll be paying about 75-85fg+:1,000 tokens. ( Better off learning how to do it yourself and finding a 50/50 clan).

Same thing for this

Depending on whether you are f2p/p2p and depending on your combat level,

this can be anywhere from 1fg:2 - 10 tokens+.

And this

Few people like this skill, it's pretty tough just like any other skill if you have no clue what you're doing
1fg:200 is a good price to look for. It will go upward toward 1fg:400xp.

And this newly released skill that hasn't developed methods fully, I've seen ratios easily go 1:50 or 1:100 unless you're higher, it's EXTREMELY level dependent and the suggestion is misleading

Also agreed @ southpark, there are many things that are off on this guide that I never see changed or removed

The price guide needs to be vague and covering few common subjects (majority skills, sw, pest control, stealing creation, etc) or not here at all. There shouldn't be any prices based on this, this should be based on people's prices. When this is posted with exact or narrow, it stifles the development of the price overtime because people point to it as what's right. For example, whip kills are never going to go up in price because of this guide

Thanks for not correcting anything.
How do you know I'm off if you can't give the the prices yourself?

Gems & Tokens - When the guide was made, mining gems/getting tokens wasn't regular but it wasn't irregular either.
FoG - Again, when the guide was made, FoG was a common job.

It clearly states in the first paragraph that depending on your stats, cmb, etc, the prices will vary.

Whip kills - I've just added this and the prices went up even after this guide.

Last line of the first paragraph -" Remember that the supplies, gear, locations, levels, and the user depend on your ratios."

So if they aren't common jobs anymore, why are they still up there? The prices are no longer relevant at all

Whip kills went up after a month of inactivity in the price guide on your part and a sharp decline in bumps over the past few months

And referring to your last statement, it doesn't matter whether you state it or not. People are going to take the prices for granted, no matter what. Do you realize that a majority of new users are going to see this guide and not care that the prices could vary much or at all (Probably not even going to read that part)? Unless there's a large flashing blinker on the screen, people not very intelligent or simply new to the website are going to scroll down and see the price, and use it. This is why the prices need to have a large range and only cover common things, and be updated often. Either cover each situation (explaining how to determine where a new user's price for a job might fall on the ratio gap) and STILL provide a large ratio gap, or leave it out and be general about the overall ratio.

And I know what you're going to say to me, as you said it to SouthPark as well, "Do it yourself if you think it's wrong". Well, you aren't really trying to seek out the price yourself or ask a few people if the ratio is wrong or whatever, so you're not doing your part of the upkeep either. The phrase goes "Shit or get off the pot", I believe. Stop posting it or make it so it doesn't dictate exact prices. If people really can't find a price, be it due to its uncommonness or they simply don't want to look around, they can make a thread like most people do, or do the right thing and ask in the price check sticky.

To summarize a bit: You KNOW people that need this sticky the most are the ones that are going to use the exact prices and probably not read that they're variable, so you need to fix it so that the ratio itself is variable and explains how to determine what number would be best, or let someone else do it.

Because they are there for future reference. Just because it isn't a common job now, doesn't mean it wont be in the future.

I'm not going to bother reading all of that. If you don't like the prices, don't follow them. Simple as that.
If you go to the price check sticky, these are the prices you will find.
This is to help narrow things downs, not to give an exact price. If you have a problem with that, sucks because the majority of the people agree with these prices.
The only difference in this and the price check sticky is that they can give you an exact price if you give them your stats.I basically took that information and gave ranges of ratios.

You keep forgetting, just as others have, that this is a GENERAL PRICE GUIDE. If you cannot understand the word general, you might want to look it up.

What, seriously? If it's not a common job, it doesn't have any job data. When it's a common job, you should add it in.

Wood cutting:

* Regular Logs & Achey Logs - 30fg:1k
* Light Jungle - 25fg:1k
* Oak Logs - 20fg:1k
* Medium Jungle - 25fg:1k
* Willow Tree - 35fg - 40fg:1k
* Dense Jungle - 30fg:1k
* Maple Logs - 50 - 60fg:1k
* Yew logs - 80fg - 120fg:1k
* Magic logs - 175fg - 240fg:1k

And what info? I almost never see these (haven't seen some of them at all, actually.) and they have exact prices

Not limited in use or application; applicable to the whole or every member of a class or category.
Prevalent or widespread among a given class or area; common, usual

If this were a GENERAL price guide, there wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for being completely useless and unhelpful. Can't say I expected much more from you, though.
