Always want to have a bank pin, anything else on your account can be changed by someone with shockingly little info, jagex security is garbo, but when you set up a pin it cant be removed immediately takes 3 or 7 days depending on what you pick when you set it up best way to keep your stuff safe, has saved me a few times as well.

They give you two options, 3 days for removal of pin or 7 days for removal of pin. I'd set that to 7 days so if your account is compromised, you have 7 days before the pin can be deleted

this, the longer it takes to be deleted, the more time you have to re secure your account after its compromised.

With that being said, I have probably had more services done on my account than 90% of users on this forum.
and It has never once been hacked.

You more than likely clicked something you shouldnt have and until you run a virus scan and clear everything this most likely will continue to happen.

as suggested above. make a brand new email. and put authenticator on that email as well.

You need to change the auth as well, otherwise anyone who has been on your account can still have access.

Pretty sure I've just changed the password and it re-asked me for my auth a couple times in the past.
Could be wrong or just happened to change the password at just the right day.

When I had all the shit go down with OG, I did tests, changing pass doesnt reset the auth

And changed The e-mail and orderd a bank pin and scaned My pc


I do not go on links or Dark websites
I only use My gamer pc for runescape Lol and youtube nothing Else not even twitch or steam
