You can Yak them, yeah. But I wouldn't be running a Yak, but a Ghast @ DKs, because the special move heals prayer points, the only thing that ends your trip.
I'd say easily could get by with a Vecna Skull, 15 extreme ranges, and your item switches. Last for hours up there. But obv, need some ghast pouches so it depends what the timer is. Assuming an hour though.
