Seriously does vls + stat pawn that bad jesus.

I've got it banked but haven't tried it yet...

Put on a show for them to stake you, bust out vls and stat. And.. win. Unless of course they have the same gear as you. ( make sure to watch for that ). It's usually staking pures that have it. so. high att/highstr/high def, and they are using shit items, stay away from them. Unless they're staking under like 5m. ( I don't recommend staking under 5m with vls/vesta though. )
