The difference is hard to say, dragon dagger specs 4 times and can hit pretty high, dclaw specs twice and hits roughly the same although I think it’s more accurate. d claws are overall better a lot of their niche utility probably stems from pvp. The other huge contributing factor to their price is dragon claws are a rare drop from raids 1, whereas dragon daggers can actually be bought from NPCs for like 40k gp or less

if you can afford dragon claws get them i'd say. you can always sell them back BUT they price has been going crazy for the last month. one point there were over 100 mill, then the other day they were 83m

dragon dagger will work just as fine

There's no point in bringing a dds if you aren't gonna be using it's spec. Just use a dragon scimitar or abyssal whip depending. Whip for atk/def, dragon scimitar for str.

Thanks man. Is a dragon dagger less dps than abssal or dragon scimmy while not using spec then? I mean I may as well scoop one for my bank if it's only 40k anyway.

At 75 and 80 atk what should I be aiming for?

Dagger is only for spec so it's bad without.

Both the whip at around 2m and the d scim around 50k-100k completely outclass it as a regular "non" spec weapon.
