I have more fun after I died as well, and im just a skiller
But im 10x less paranoid about going to wildy for things I need, or doing harder quests where theres a chance I get 1shot if I dont tick-eat properly.

\i stand by the statement that insta-kill mechanics are fucking garbage and thats why hardcore mode is so dumb (amongst MANY other reasons)

Most instakill mechanics are quite easy to dodge as long as you don't lack in attention or ping.

A lapse in either of those can cause a OHKO.

At least you don't fully lose your char like D2, that'd be an amazing way to have a HC on osrs tbh.

i just think instakill mechanics are not fun and a poor way of creating a 'challenge' in pretty much every game
if you dont buy a token for like 1m gp on rs3 your hcim death will be perm like how d2 is lol, but pret much everyone gets the token
