I’m interested in the “opt out” week thought. If people are incentivized to compete more, some weeks I’ll never be able to compete at with normal accounts (such as construction).
I understand that’s the idea of iron mode, but at the same time I’ll not be able to compete so it would be just tossing fg out the door.
Hmm, i'm gonna think a way uo to make it fair.
or try atleast.

Voted no. Some people don't want to sign up every week, and a lot of people are maxed in a skill they don't ever want to touch again. Why would they be penalized an entry fee if they don't know what skill it is going to be? If someone is level 99 in that weeks skill I find it stupid to penalize them an entry fee if they don't want to go past 99. What if someone is 200mil in that skill? Do they get refunded each week?
Whenever I was in the skill comp I used it as motivation to level a skill I didn't want to level.
In reality the skill comp has been dead for awhile. Just let it die
If people don't want to sign up each week i'm just gonna do it so you can sign up on weekly basic. (Ahead of time)
If someone are 200m in a skill then they will get refunded yes but thats something im gonna think about who would have the rights to get the the entry fee returned and when etc.
We do indeed want the motivation to level those skills but an extra reward helps to push the competition a little more

I do enjoy the skill competition and i assume those who join weekly do aswell. So aslong we have people joining im not gonna let it die out.
