I don’t get it. Why does people play an old game when they have everything better in the new one ? It probably sounds noob cause yeah.. I am noob haha but is there a particular reason ppl play the old one ?

It's more of a stick to one game type of thing...when they introduced eoc it basically changed the entire game around. New mechanics etc. Neither games are bad, I enjoy both, but in the current state as I said, osrs has more people playing than rs3 does so I went w/ osrs.

Basically, some people are able and willing to adapt to change, while others are either unable or unwilling or both.

Same concept can be applied to people wanting WoW Classic to be relaunched.
It'll draw people in simply because of the market, nostalgia, and realm first experiences.
If they don't do any changes or updates, it'll get dull and people will drop it, and if they do changes the community doesn't want, people will drop it.

What OSRS did successfully was listen to the community and see what they wanted, rather than having an idea and forcing it upon them.
For those who approve of the ideas they implemented in RS3, there's nothing wrong with the current state of the game.

From that point of view I can’t do much more but agreed. It’s really cool to see that the devs actually did that do the community. The community must be really intense to have such liberty of choices.
