That was a separate instance I think, I don't really recall though I just remember they scooped a bunch of sick names at once.

So how are these people getting it back? are they sending in claims or is jagex doing everything themselves and if they miss someone that person is sol?

My assumption is that the incident was small enough for them to investigate exactly where the money went. Apparently these people have been bitching about it on reddit for a bit, and now they looked into it and could trace everything back. That's my assumption.
