Changing your name is cause for disqualification. The reason that this is a rule is to prevent people with multiple accounts from gaining large amounts of exp by signing one up and then switching their name to the other account that has more experience and getting free experience.

Because I only keep track of one skill at a time, I cannot guarantee with absolute certainty that it is the same account and would cause too many potential issues to monitor this in its entirety in order to maintain the competition's integrity.

It is unfortunate that you have to be disqualified, but it is stated in the rules post explicitly and you inherently agree to all of the rules of the competition whenever you sign up.
