I looked up a guide and it said they are weak to crush. I used Drygore and literally got crushed. Switched to range and it was a thousand times easier. Definitely blocking that task if I get it again, it wouldn’t be so bad if they actually dropped something.

So what would be optimal gear? I like the bow, the special attack is nice. Anything else I should be picking up? What mage and range armor?

Typically you pick a combat style and focus on it since each style if going for best in slot will run you a few bill.

If you like ranged, you'll want Sirenic armor, Seren God Bow in an EoF amulet, an ECB in an EOF, and eventually upgrade to a BOLG

That’s fine I like variety and playing all styles so I’d rather get best in slot for everything currently available. I know I need to beat the new fight caves for the cape.

So I should put my seren god bow special in an eof and buy a BOLG? Pardon the dumb question but what’s an ECG? I know people use multiple EOF and I assume switch them to avoid the cooldowns on special attacks? Haven’t actually tried any of that myself yet but doesn’t seem too terribly difficult if that’s the concept

/edit I figured out what the ecg is. Seems like a strong special.

ECB = Eldritch Crossbow.

If you can afford a BOLG then I would get one. Yes, you will eventually have multiple EOF's with special attacks in it
