8 months and 22 days

I was supposed to get Hi-year tenured at December this year for not advancing, but they managed to make some calls and keep me til Sep'13....Bastards. Oh well, more free paychecks for not doing anything. I'd stay in for 20 at this rate, but my gf can't handle it, and I just don't want to deal with those arguments so I"ll find a job with my clearance.

I'm hoping to knock an entire year off that come October, once they change the Marine Corps Early-Out for Education program. Since they're mass downsizing they're changing it from three months out to a year. Hopefully I'll get approved six months early, and enjoy getting an extra years worth of BAH on my G.I. Bill while I hit the college scene on the governments dime.

lol my unit commander screwed us out of our 90 days tdy instead we only get 30... go look for a home and to move all our shit and our familys and get all our affairs in order
