Alright boys, so I did some thinking and I think it's Inferno time. Trying to upgrade this TBow to a Scythe ASAP, so the next time I'll have a TBow and like 700m in auxiliary gear will likely be months from now, which means months of a fire cape with a scythe which is just a nono. Strength bonus is huge on scythe, moreso than with a whip if my understanding is correct

use either justiciar, or ancestral not both. those are your mage setups. Would recmomend justiciar for learning.

can you afford ely? it goes ely > crystal shield > arcane, guard boots also good for learning. would just go max defense bonus tbh,

Yeah I'ma keep the justiciar I think, but with Ely we'd be like -50 magic attack. Shit seems brutal.

Can't afford an Ely but I'm sure I could scoop a loan



Shit is so weird, everything pre-490s seems scary, but then when the 490s spawn and you just pray mage and wear Justiciar everything seems to calm

Swap the Arcane to Crystal shield, and Justiciar is not worth, You can learn with it but the splashes with just Plate and helm are unreal couldnt imagine Leggings, Used it for my first 2 runs back grinding it, now I only use Helm its definitely best to use and then Ancestrals/Ely

Don't think the justiciar is worth it just to cheese one cape out? Not looking to do slayer tasks after or 'learn' anything, just looking to get one cape
