Decided to go with farming Lantadyme for now - IIRC, when the Inferno is released on the 1st, you'll be able to pickpocket lava scales from the NPCs around the place. Assuming it's a fair rate of them (~350) per hour it'd pmuch make Lantadyme the best herb for Ironmen, usability of potions aside. They'd go from 157.5XP per pot up to 240. (Brews are 180)
Getting seconds for them is kind of aids, but I believe it's around 800/h so I mean, better than nests. Lantadyme seeds are harder to come by than Toadflax though, so they'll ofc have to be done in tandem w/Brews. Coincidentally, you get a shitload of Lantadyme seeds from Mole.
Based on prices, I heavily doubt you'll actually get 350 scales per hour, but if an hour of lost time amounts to that amount then we're set. Could be 50 per hour and still be worthwhile. Kind of more excited about that, than the Inferno cape... There's a chance the shit doesn't get added though, since it was part of the Zeah design so watch them fuck it up
