Mine's completely uncharged and shining every kill, so that doesn't seem to matter too much. I'm thinking that specific monsters (slayer ones specifically) shine every single time.

off of ~50 i got 2 shines and they were rune javs and a saph

well, steel drags definitely dont shine that much for me

I haven't got anything good off of it yet, it's shining every kill though.

1 more level until I can get Abyssal demons though.
