Everything gets easier with membership. F2P quests are the only thing I would really recommend. Also, if you like to do everything entirely in-game, then by all means do it. But you'll find a lot more efficient money makers with membership. So the point that Jupe was making is that you're going to be using these F2P methods just to get the first bond and then probably never going back to them. But once again, do whatever you want. People get lost quickly in their goals and forget to enjoy the game sometimes.

The concept of getting membership through rsgp has just warped people's minds in such a way that now, folks like OP seem to think that the right way to play the game is to grind bot tier activities for tens of hours just so they can buy membership bonds. Whereas, prior to bonds in osrs, players would focus on actually playing the game to make their account better, to actually play the fuckin game for pleasure. You would spend 5 bucks for membership for an entire month, and you would do whatever you want in game and stack those dolla dolla bills in gp and get yourself a sick nasty setup. Now, though? People seem to think the objective of the game is to just focus on making gp so they can actually play the game. It's like you're wageslaving a job on runescape for unironically equivalent to pennies an hour, to actually be a member. I know many such cases of this as well, like people play for a few weeks and now their whole objective is just to do dumb shit as a low level player to become a member (and stay a member). And sure, people like OP think this is the fun way to play the game, and to them it may be, but i just view it as some dumb misguided 'pride' shit that accounts to literally nothing - in fact i view people like this as idiots. Buying membership instead of grinding for bonds doesn't mean you cheated, or shortchanged yourself, it's how the game fuckin played for 20 yrs lmfao.
Bonds unironically ruined the game, in more ways than one. But I do love them I've been mems since osrs came out cause i had money on rs3 for bonds and it counted for osrs ofc. They're just toxic to shitter new players and they're jagex-sponsored rwt. But, in this day and age gp means nothing in the game anyway, non-iron players are pretty cringe and the only thing that matters is petscape (does it even now though? idk.) - maybe bankstanding with 200m in all skills shrug.
Anyway, @OP i don't give a fuck what you do bro, but you are ruining your experience by not playing an ultimate ironman on osrs

don't forget these people telling you how to play and to be efficient, played for prob 10-15 years already.
so they have already been through the struggle, and the joys of experiencing what you are right now.
I feel you're doing it the right way, youre broadening your horizon sort of speak by checking out these crappy methods, or sometimes fun methods.

all my accs id boost to get into mining guild, and power bank all the iron ore. i think my iron had like 25k ish iron by the time i wanted to make steel bars from my kingdom

I HIGHLY suggest just using some of your fg or using your credit card to buy 6 months of membership outright.
and just play the game to play. if after that 6 months you are still enjoying the game. you will then have enough knowledge to be able to "fund" playing the game with bonds.

but as others have said. why waste 10+ hours grinding for one bond. when you can do an hour of overtime IRL and buy months of members...?

games are meant to be enjoyed. not as another job and requirement.

They way one enjoy the game is personal. Like I said even if it’s not your point of view, what if the interest I find in the game is that aspect of grinding for paying a bound ?
