I know I got a warning on my two accounts even though one of them isn't involved in JSP at all (but the other one was). So that scared me into not trading rsgp anymore.

It was an automated message to my RuneScape accounts saying that they found out I was Real World Trading and that this was the only warning I would get. Future attempts at RWT would get me either a wealth cancellation or a ban depending on the situation

Edit: I thought they were bullshitting at first but it seems they have a way to figure that out pretty efficiently, as I wasn't doing THAT much RWT-type trades to begin with

Edit2: I can't exactly pinpoint what trade caused the issue, as the warning was sent to me at least 1 week after any trade. I can't 100% confirm it was JSP either. So do with that what you will :P

Yeah this is pretty scary lol. Like trade at your own risk of course , but who wants to lose 1000s of hours of progress?

They’re not, though :(

Friend wasn’t banned but had all of his gp removed from his account leaving him essentially cleaned of rsgp

If the warn is not available through your osrs account, it's fake.
Also wtf is a "wealth cancellation"

It wasn't an email, it was a message through the RuneScape account messages.

It was through my RS account, not an email. Wealth cancellation is them removing gp from your account, either equivalent to the amount they thought you bought, or all of it.

Nope I still have all my wealth but i'm definitely not trading rsgp anymore, to protect my accounts.
