Got some quests done.. a few levels

Started haunted mine to get myself a spade

Got an empty candle lantern and added a black candle, so now I have a slightly better light source

My current goal is to complete plague city.. but one of the quest items requires me to get an item from tarns lair.. which requires 35 crafting + a relatively hard boss fight. So that's the grind for the next day or two

I also realized chocolate dust only drops from dessourt which is a quest-only boss that requires chocolate dust to even get to him.. so that's going to have to be another item that at least temporarily I'll have to get in non-combat ways. I don't know if the dessourt in nightmare zone drops chocolate dust..? If he does I can obtain it from there once I unlock him, but before that it'll have to be fair game

I went into this day with some grinds.. anticipating an incredibly tough boss fight that I've never done before and have heard is quite difficult

Got myself a rune scim. Leveled my crafting by killing snails and crafting snelms, would've been a pretty good method if I didn't have to go heal at LMS every 20 minutes

Trained defence on the snails and on dark wizards / forgotten souls in order to get runes. Used practically all of my runes to hit 39 magic for crumble undead

Filled a looting bag with food.. suicided in Treus Dayths room.. went and got another inv of food.. and ended up only using 15 of it. 10 of which was because I messed up and got hit by a minecart

I think I greatly overestimated this fight.. oh well.

Came out of the day with a rune scim, ~12k cash, an air battlestaff, black axe, salve amulet and haunted mine complete

Mostly just quests

I was planning to finish the Ardy easy diary for the cloak, even grabbed 33 thieving to get further into Pyramid Plunder to kill high level mummies for Silk. Quickly realized that the mummies within Pyramid Plunder don't actually drop silk, only the mummies within the Desert Treasure temple do. Won't be getting that done anytime soon

Thanks to someone on discord I realized I've already broken my rules by acquiring swamp paste from a non-combat source and completing Sea Slug. Swamp paste drops from the chests in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame, which definitely fall under my rule of "single-use chest locked behind combat". Luckily the sea slug quest hasn't given me anything useful yet, 24 fishing which I've never used, and was actually a 30 FMing grind in the first place

Going to get 15 herblore and finish the Shades of Mort'ton quest asap in order to make up for the mistake

Quite a lot happened since the last post. I went deep into Tarns Lair trying to get some items.. and died. And then spent an hour trying to get back with no food and lost all of my items.

I'll consider this a punishment for accidentally breaking my rules with Sea Slug. Took a day or two to get most of my items back, and I'm still not quite as geared as I was previously (no amulet, no boots, only a black chainbody)

Got a few levels and finally completed Shades of Mort'ton
