its mostly the increase in gold entering the game from RS3, the prices of osrs will always change with rs3, party hats determine gp value (example. 2010-2018 blue phat was always 5k usd, gp value will match the hat value, the price since increased since gold value has decreased)

a new boss was released whereas you can afk and drive at the same time and get 5-10mil/hr keeping urself logged in, rs3 soulsplit account is what 15$ these days... running 10 of these yields minimum wage in most us states per hour (presuming its like 7-8$)

in osrs there are bots that can play the bosses, since they're mostly just click input
