Yup I agree, stopped playing my regular account and my ironman once they announced GIM would come out for OSRS. I have probably 10+ friends all looking to start GIM accounts in a couple groups. We've all played RS since RSC and were excited for a coop ironman experience with each other.





Now because the childish community bands together to "Stick it to Jagex" the rest of us suffer, great game, great community. Before this deadman mode DDOS drama it was the HD plugin drama, it never ends. These last few weeks have really shown how mentally ill a portion of this game's community is.





Aside from the drama we have people voting no because they can't fathom that you might actually have REAL friends that want to play runescape together. They throw excuses around like "Everyone will just quit", "Someone will ruin the group and steal the shared stash". Like WTF? Have these people never had a real friend in their life or do they not realise everybody doesn't make RS their life, my friends and I are all normal well adjusted adults with normal lives outside of RS.





People who sit here and say "wElL iF yOu DiDnT vOtE nO oN pVp UpDaTeS" are the stupidest and most narcissistic people. I don't vote on polls that don't directly affect me or that I don't care about. Hell I've even voted yes to polls in the past that other people were excited about to help support change that they want. Canceling membership to show where you stand is a good move spite voting updates just further divides the community.





This is my vented frustration with this game and it's community. Maybe the poll will be in our favor for GIM and this post will be nothing more than a pointless flare of anger and disappointment. If not I'm not going to wait around forever to play this, I haven't played RS in years and have other things to do in my life. I may be one player with a group of friends but there's many like us across this community.

2 of us rushing WT, other 2 are slaying / skilling - not really going for leaderboards etc just sticking to what we know.

it's painful but so resourceful for early game in seeds, herbs, fish, logs and cash i just can't resist, plus between 2 of us we're hoping to get 4 tome of fires for atleast the initial group
