i think 20fg weekly is more than fair

Not a whole lot and enough to keep people a little more motivated
this would also open up the option to do some giveaways for free entries into the skill comp for a week (privately paid for of course)
I would be keen to do a few of these :D

Voted no. If funds get low just tell me and I'll top them up. This applies to if rewards increase as well.

While we appreciate all the donations then i think the entry fee is the correct way to move forwards.
This will ensure everyone is interested in the competition as they have placed a small bet in it, aswell it will make the reward worth winning.

Also we might have an interesting idea for the forum gold being donated for abit of extra motivation ;)
More about this later in the month muahaha

The idea of an entry fee also gives people motivation to compete towards winning (given their "investment").
Although, would there be the ability to opt out certain weeks? IE: What if a slayer week comes up for someone that is a skiller? They have no shot at competing (this is an extreme example, but just a thought)

I'm sure most people wouldnt mind 20fg going towards the competition that week, but just a potential issue I could see being an issue (in a variety of cases, not just that specific example)

I voted 20fg tho, I like the idea

just my 2 cent,

If you play OSRS and you will most likely have significant amount of osrs gold, 20-30 fg is between 500k-600k. so i vote 30 XD

While im competition for skilling , if the reward is not that big I would just go for more afk/ less cost training method where the top tier training cost way more than the pot itself.

I will get back later on with the "selective weeks to join in"
I don't think it will be an reality, but i will see if i can think up a way to make it fair.

True, i get the logic behind this.
However this is something we do to get more players into the competition.
And by adding a to high entry fee would make some players back out and thats not what we want.

The goal by this Entry fee is to get 20+ to participate each week and for it to be worth winning at the same time :)

I’m interested in the “opt out” week thought. If people are incentivized to compete more, some weeks I’ll never be able to compete at with normal accounts (such as construction).

I understand that’s the idea of iron mode, but at the same time I’ll not be able to compete so it would be just tossing fg out the door.
