Bonds would have to be bought by gold, gold would have to come from donations from here on JSP. That many transactions with one account holding the skill comp funds could easily be flagged for RWT. (Only RSGP being traded and nothing else being traded in return)

I get that Jagex doesn't pay too much attention to the smaller trades, but this idea has already been brought up and has already been shot down.

ALL funds for the skill comp winnings must be in forum gold only.

Hello been awhile i would participate if i didnt need to sell my pc,playing on my old potato atm but ill get it back soonish
Some ideas i red and i liked are all time highscore winners and winner choosing the skill for next week and ability add to diffrent accaunts
The most problems i see with competion is main accaunts have to particapate with ironmans which have way less chances of winning maybe make main and ironman competion seperate?
Another problem is the reward isnt much worth it for the most people maybe make and entry fee like for example 1m or 50fg ? if 20 people particapate the winner gets 20m or 1k fg ? we could make it less ofcourse like 500k or even do split for all 3 places
Winner gets 10m second place gets 6m and third gets 4m or something like that i would see alot of people would be up for that
And we could save fg rewards for separate ironman competition cause they choose to not to trade
About the entry fee we could aswell pay 4m upfront or 200fg for next 4 weeks or any amount
I see that would bring alot of people imagine if 50 would participate thats alot of money to win

Maybe if possible here are a couple of suggestions:

Instead of one competition for osrs and one for rs3 how about something like the following:

2 competitions for each, both the same skill as before

1 competition for normal accounts
1 competition for ironman accounts

Each user can register a normal account and an ironman account

At least this would get me more interested in participating I think. Pretty impossible to compete with normal accounts as an ironman on skills such as herb/prayer/construction/crafting/anything buyable unless you have supplies stockpiled.

I know this isn’t a huge issue with the number of participants there actually are but if the competition actually picked up like back in the day it could put ironman players in a huge disadvantage.

I also like the idea of longer disqualification timer. Sometimes I won’t play RuneScape for a week or two then I’ll grind really hard for a week or two.

To keep people / attract more people and have them stick around for numerous weeks...you should give reward for maybe most XP gained over 1 month or 3 months (skill contest skills), atleast this would keep people attracted to the contest over a few months.

Also you could do ironman only contests. - people right now simply won't sign up as an iron man mainly because they are going to 99% of the time lose against a non ironman simply because a no iron can buy the best xp/h with gold while we need to farm items up or manually obtain before getting XP

In order to do anything with rewards for the skill comp, we'll need help from the community on forum gold donations in order for us to have payouts for the winners.

I'd like to propose that we do not get disqualified for not participating. Instead, if a name change occurs and the name change is not documented in the name change thread then you will be disqualified because we don't know who the account belongs to. Temple does keep track of name changes. So you still could win the skill comp (on temple), but we won't know who you are.

I'd like to also suggest instead of skill comp participating disqualification, we create a ehp per month for all the users that are added to the skill comp and whoever does not have .01 ehp or higher in any skill in that month that they be removed from the skill comp.

had a remedy with his thought of a entry fee obviously this is a jsp related comp anything related to jsp must be done with jsp funds so there for would 100% require it to be a fg entry fee. Lots of gamblers etc in this forum so you might get more ppl entering on desired weeks i.e combat be it pvm or straight up gains in slayer/melee stats. Obv might get less entries on weeks like crafting because joe just has everyone dead to rights on that lol
