You can combine it with that one helm to upgrade it. Helm of nietztot or whatever lol. I think it gives some def bonuses too

Isn't SERP helm, overall BIS over helm of neit+basilic?

It provides +1 strength and +3 prayer over serp, and it's non-degradable.

Serp allows you to not need anti-venom. Think overall, it's the better/cheaper option
