Bnp didn't ruin it because they are cashing out so they followed cash price too, and it's stayed pretty close the last few months

I think alot of the price had to do with corona too

Its very weird that the game currency goes up over time in this couple month. It has to be due to corona and the demand spiked.

Maybe I just havent played many game but i have never experienced the price of game currency goes up overtime in any game.

It Went up a little bit When corona started because of the huge player base coming back into the game due to being off of work and it having a high demand. Players got accustomed and started bringing a lot of money into the game as well as the decreasing demand over time due to how easy it is to make money at a higher level. This probably caused an excess in supply compared to the supply that is present during the average amount of active players, as well as a decrease in demand due to people just not making enough money to splurge on a game currency. On top of that, there are actually a lot of bots in the game right now bringing so much money into the game

More people selling due to the increase in supply = sellers competing with each other undercutting each other’s prices pennies at a time. I’m sure it won’t go under 50 cents and will rise back up to the .70-.80 mark some time in the near future. A little bit after corona is done probably.

It's just like rs3 in a sense. The longer this game last the lower gp will be because of how much of it is in game.Not to mention gp/hr methods have just steadily gone up since release.

Does rs3 take money out via duel arena? i feel like osrs has way more literal gp sinks than rs3 did, which my guess has helped loads in keeping gp values up

It doesn't last I've played or seen anything. Osrs mods made it a point they want a lot of gp sinks for that reason. I honestly don't know what sinks rs3 has anymore haven't played in a very long time.

rs3 have alot of money sink - no we it doesnt have any duel arena money sink. But if you want an instance it will cost money and the repair of items (all gear above gwd1 gear degrades) - and there are more that i just cannot remember.

but the problem is that if osrs adds more moneysinks people would be angry since they want to keep their hard earned money

price has almost always been the same, was always weird jsp wasn't up to RMT prices for OSRS but was for every other game, was generally 10-15% higher.

just now dropped to rmt prices, but if you notice its mostly a select few buying out and selling higher, since the smaller player base compared to say wow or poe
