you used to be able to trade at ZMI alter, that needed 5 runners for optimal exp and you could get 250k+ exp per hour

This completely, there’s no way you could keep up with 4 let alone 5.

2is good 3 is max and the Xp is quite insane as well as Jake stated.

So I guess it boils down to, are you the dude who wants quick 99 fletch with addy darts or do you wanna spend way longer to make a lil fletching bows

In your case since you’re just doing 77 so you can start bloods I’d definitely recommend the runners, there are quite a few CC’s in game that offer ranked trusted runners

Price for runners is more than having someone do it on your account. If you don't like the skill, pay someone to do it for you so you never have to look at it. If you don't mind the skill, pay runners and rip the band aide off quick.
Personally don't see why you'd pay more to also have to do RC vs pay less and never have to even look at the RC altar. But whatever floats your boat and makes the most sense to you ofc.
