So the method was using resizable and the keyboard to not move your mouse?

You can do it with oak dungeon doors too for example, a bit slower xp but cheaper too.

Same thing as Oak dungeon doors, you just don't have to worry about trapping the butler every time and slightly faster xp/hr

it's not that it's new at all

it's probably the most valuable and useful thing of ANY skill and people still neglect to get it done asap because of the cost, not realizing that you recoup the cost many times over and the sooner you get it done the better lol

This goes for multiple skills, like spending cash on smithing gold ores for 300k/hr and using the time saved for things like tob actually means you profit on smithing

that's all indirect ways of recouping money
i'm talking 100% directly related to the skill
the amount of gp saved on teleports, pots, food, and time(spec bar refill) vastly out weights any other skill in terms of usefulness
sure the up front seems like alot but is SUPER easy to achieve early through boosting (as the lovely Starcrater has shown above)

the fact is most people look at the initial price tag and blow it off not realizing the long term gain from knocking it out as quickly as possible

Where did the mindset of "do the most expensive fast method but its still making money because you can raid/pvm for the time saved" even come from?

Imo it's quite a weird way to go about things, makes everything else other than doing endgame content obsolete.

Then again I'm stuck in 2005 skilling 4 lyfe mindset so what do I know

Not accurate numbers but just random numbers for example purposes

Do zulrah 20 hours to make 45-50m
Get said skill complete in 5 hours at the cost of that 45-50m
Comes out to 25 hours

Or do said slow method at no gain / loss in GP but takes 40 hours

In theory you're saving 15 hours of work to do faster method of training
This applies to several skills

That's what I meant yup, quite an interesting way to go about things.

Guess it's just me who prefers more afk methods to going full tryhard and "saving" 15h.

There's no real "AFK" method for construction. I think it 's also the mindset of "This method of making money is more enjoyable than making oak larders for XX amount of time".

So if someone can spend 20 hours doing Zulrah which they enjoy, and spend less time having to do something as monotonous and click intensive as construction, it makes sense for them.

Construction yes is one of those skills where you just need to bite the bullet and kill your wrists for a bit to get that 83.

A good example would be doing fletching/crafting with darts/gems for a good loss but recoup it with pvm or do the more afk methods and lose less/spend more time + catch up on netflix.

But I'm not judging anyone how they play the game, if you wanna go full gamer then go ahead :')
