Yeah waste of money like SwaYy says until you're Makin some bank. 5k cballs is next to nothing, you use like what 175-200k doing slayer? If your bank is 4m spending 25% of your bank on cballs not advised.

Id also just worry about getting to mid 70s maybe even a touch higher combats before you worry about slayer too much. Kind of pointless early game tasks are shit.

Invest some gp into some runes for mage training arena, get a few infinity boots make some good profit with good mage xp
Really good place to start at on fresh account for the early mage levels and easy profit

Need 55 mage for alch room but if you do a bunch of points in telek / graveyard rooms first you can rack up those low mage levels quick then do alch room to get bunch of points and try to hold off on enchant room until I believe 68? For enchant dragonstone
Which at 55 doing alch room gives insane mage xp so get to 68 really quick

Was a long 4 day grind but I bought everything from mage training arena including bones to peaches and made around 22m profit and got 41-80 magic

Cannon only when you have a slayer level high enough to profit and still rebuy cannon balls.

There's like... Hardly any cannon tasks you'll profit on. But you'll start offsetting some of the costs with seeds/alchables and whatnot while profiting on other tasks/slayer bossing to pay for the rest/profit once you get up there in levels.

I was able to make 500k-1m a task doing Konar with keys.

Yeah maybe the odd task you were lucky on, other than that I call bs. Average key loot is just over 100k. That's a completely unrealistic amount of keys/alchables, seeds, herbs etc etc to offset consumables and cballs per task to still profit 500k-1m a task not to mention Konar is wildly inefficient unless you're an ironman or doing hydras.

I can't speak of your RNG but I always had good luck. Check out the old posts on my achievement thread (in sig).

From my experience, konar was giving me 500k a task as well from doo-doo drops + keys. If the monster had ok drops, the task gave me roughly 1m.

Sadly, tasks took a while to do and I'm pretty sure many of them would not be suitable for a cannon.

do you do quest jobs? or anyone on this thread that has gone to far lol
