few days ago what happened to me was my email address was breached
it was a list of 200 or so emails on the list
someone took the time to go through the emails and see which they could log into
and when they were able to log into mine did the account recovery through jagex, which tells you which accounts are linked to the emails
then did a password recovery on that account

2 factor would have helped a little, but it only does so much when you only need the email access to disable it anyways
i had taken it off myself because it was causing issues with me playing on mobile :/

so rip ~275m of mine.... currently rebuilding

I use a ghost email. My emails associated with my accounts are literal jibberis set up with 2 factor and only changeable through my phone.
