I personally don't agree with TH promotions giving EXP rewards but that's not the topic of discussion. It's also why I added the option of an RS3 Ironman to avoid using TH and dbl xp weekends and other boosts.

You didn't read my post. He did that over months, if not years, of waiting for specific in game promotions. Not just 1 promotion and dumping in 10k

Really not an argument homie. Months, years, whatever, the account was logged into the game for a few hours and has a max cape.

No one is arguing the fact that TH, Bonus Exp, Dbl exp, etc are severely overpowered. I agree that they are. In fact most RS3 players I've talked to about this also disagree with these promotions being part of the game. My question wasn't how easy it is to max an account. I personally don't have 10k IRL to dump on a game. And like others have said just beause 1 youtuber did it doesn't make it realistic.

What it shows though is that somone can take $100 out of their paycheck on a promotion and do some major damage, you told him to explain why it’s shit, that’s my explanation. Plenty more in the chamber as well.

Large chunk of the money spent was establishing decent base stats cause at level 1 you get like no xp at all. So a noob with base 80s would get it wayyyy cheaper.

Okay so what is the difference if I took that $100 and RWT for OS gold? Same principle except that doing it on RS3 doesn't violate the rules. You think that's better?

And an argument can be said that RS3 real game experience doesnt even start until at least level 80 all stats. Their game is focused on more of the end game content and high level PvM

Any game you can pretty much purchase currency, hence this sites existence. Not many where you can literally buy max accounts, aside from jobs of course which is irrelevant, as the work is still needing to be done. It’s a pay to win game in a sense, if that’s what you’re into then more power to ya.

In a sense yes if you buy TH keys. Nothing is forcing you to buy keys or use TH. Hence Ironman or just only using the keys obtained from the game naturally and not buying additional ones. I don''t think most people understand that if you only used the keys that are rewarded fro quest completion, the amount of exp you get is in essence not that much. Yes it may be a few levels here and there. But in the grand scheme of things (especially since some skills go to 120 now) it's not that MUCH exp

Correct, but any time you allow people to buy things that should only be obtained by time, it well have a major effect on the sense of accomplishment of obtaining those stats legitimately, as everyone in the game has them and or can easily get them at any point if they pull out their wallet. To each their own man, just not for me! I have a max cape myself which I got before all that stuff was added, now it’s almost expected to have a max cape.

That being said, I’m not saying it’s all bad, was just ruined for me personally by all these things.
