I wouldn't bother with an eternal slayer ring but would unlock them and make regulars. They are dirt cheap to craft, have 8 charges, and lets be real, once you get high slayer you don't really ever use them unless you don't do your slayer tasks in the catacombs or are doing gargoyles.
