Exactly my point

Anyone that actually uses the scythe uses it long term, and A lot. Most of the time they aren’t gonna sell it anyway, so the unreadable thing isn’t even a hinderence. The fixed rate will be used up in no time then they’re getting those 10x the price the charges for free which is dumb

Plus if you’re going to do it with one item do it with all.

Staff, blowpipe, serp helm. Hell, why not the ring of suffering too

sure, why not ? the key part is finding the right price for it to make it fair.

isnt the point of degrading items that they degrade?
doesnt make much sense to give something unlimited charges, at that point just make it not degrade

The thing is, if you allow players to make their degradable items eternal by making them pay (for example) 20 times the max charge capacity, you would most likely create an even bigger supply sink.

If you had to pay for example 400k scales to make your blowpipe eternal.. you'd create a bigger scale sink since most players will NEVER even come close to using that amount of scales for their blowpipe and I'm assuming a lot of those players would still make an eternal blowpipe.
Think about how long it would take for you to use your blowpipe 400k times.

Nah, it's already in a pretty rough spot with the price of blood runes - this would make it way worse.

If we take into account my new suggestion, making an eternal scythe would cost 1.2m blood runes, which would cost around 427m at current blood price.

How many players would ever use their scythe 400k times ? If we assume that the average scythe hit is 40... no, let's assume it's 30 for this exercise.. 30x 400k x4 would mean you'd be getting 48m xp off that. This number is insanity and won't be achieved by the vast majority of players.
We live in a world in which 420m gold is way more than most people's bank.

Irrelevant, it's the point that people would buy it and it'd spike the price of blood runes. Higher price = everyone is paying more

I used a scythe for a few weeks, price is brutal
