Jagex is playing 5d chest: released EoC and introduced a ton of mtx making a more money than they ever did in the past despite a smaller player base. Then years later released a shitty vanilla version of non-eoc runescape and made even MORE money by appealing to nostalgicunts. Then they went with the "oh we can introduce f2p like everyone wants if you vote yes to adding in mtx bonds pls vote yes". And here we are now with people paying $10+ a month to play a shitty pixelated java based game from 2007 so the chinese owning jagex can skip out on updates for months to put it on mobile to make more money. wake up sheeple

You know you can just buy bonds with profit you make in game right?

There's 0 reason why you should pay $10 a month for p2p.
