If your going to use eoc I recommend setting up a separate action bar for defensive abilities since you will be using them for most fights.

Resonance is amazing for heals during gwd2 since you can just shield swap click res and get a pretty nice heal. Also good to start getting defensive abilities in a rotation at the start rather than the learning curve when your already trying to boss and have no idea what's happening lol
Also helwyre would be a good start to learn the combat system and what skills do. You can camp in gwd2 and just do practice mode in case you die you just spawn outside the boss room and don't loose any gear. Don't really matter what combat style you choose, you will be able to learn the defensive abilities, single target, and multi target abilities along with other common boss mechanics like stuff spawning in the floor and having to move out of the way. Once you get it down you will easily be able to predict the next attack style by counting the hits from the boss.

Still a little new to rs3 but those are the things that helped me get started with everything
