Only thing i can think of to help that portion is side panels option. Click the wrench. Advanced options. and very bottom click the " side - panels " button

It's because you're trying to take a fixed resolution and stretch it, it's always going to look shitty in that case.

Could be exactly what youre lookin for. every client ive ever used has used the right side option of the two monitors. The game client expands to fill the window. I notice yours is on the left one
