why the fuck would I want to keep quest items?
I mean... seriously. almost all of them are useless, and the ones that arent the game has set up to where you can go to X NPC and select "take x qty" from them...

I cannot think of a single quest item that I have dropped that I have ever regretted doing so.

they are just a waste of bank space.

Some are equippable, some give access to zones (fishing tournament ticket), some are cosmetics l, sone can be read.
I can see why most players wouldn't care, but there are definitely reasons to keep them.

Can you please give me one reason why I would ever need to walk back into the fishing contest spot?

might be worth adding that you can create a fake gravestone with an untradeable item if you protect 28 other untradeable items over the one you wish to deathpile - if you fail to create a real gravestone (and are only losing the 1 item you want to deathpile) the 29th, lowest value untradeable will drop under your character's respawn and remain there for an hour

I use the door key from witch's house because it has a slightly higher alch value than most, but you might have to find something else if what you're trying to save outvalues the key
