As some of you know I'm going to be running the skill comp and started this past week.

My idea is to possibly try and shake up how it's done each week.

I've put together this wheel with some screen recording software. With this, the chance of a b2b week IS possible however very unlikely.
Runecrafting may not be the best way to showcase this but it's just an example This will not affect the new Skill Comp starting in under 24 hours. This is merely to test the interest of such a thing.



It seems a 12 week cooldown is a tad bit long, and if we forego the wheel idea, I'd like to see how you guys think about shortening it down for 4 or 2 weeks.
The 2 week simply makes it so b2bs cannot happen.

I'd also like to see how people feel about using either TempleOSRS or Wise Old Man.
Likes/dislikes/QoL things about either/or etc.

I like random. Winners could always pick the skill they believe they will win next. So spices it up a little bit.

You could always do random without allowing back to back. So if it’s runecraft one week and it happens to roll on it again, it’ll be rerolled.

Not sure if my opinion/voice has weight as I’m not in the competitions anymore, but I used to be. I figured as someone who was in it, and who runs a competition similarly, I’d provide my thoughts.

Still looking for more verbal insight as well from the community

Also a fan of the wheel deciding the skill each week, but would like it if overall and slayer were still consistent on a rotation of weeks ending in 5 & 10.

they would be. I apologise for neglecting to say that.

Definitely wheel spin imo. I think that’s the best for the comp instead of the winner choosing the next skill that they want to work in or whatever.
