Used to be a big dota 2 player but looking for a change of pace. Want to find a game where I can afk a bit more and do something relaxing on a second monitor if I don’t want to be hyper focused on the game at all times.

I know pretty much nothing about OSRS other than the basics. Is it worth hopping in in 2021?

Both versions of runescape are still worth playing.

Absolutely. if you want a full game do everything experience but mostly solo. do ironman. if you want to just power up and do the main things and buy off ge for ez life. do a regular main. suggest questin and just derpin around. best experiences you will ever have is bein a noob

I played runescape like 15 years ago as a kid.
Restarted playing a while ago and have enjoyed it massively!
Old School version has very smiliar feel to it what I remembered.

Don't waste time in free to play 2021, not worth your time to grind bond there.
My first goal was quest cape, aka completing every single quest in the game.
It is the perfect way to get re-acquinted with the game or learn it from the scratch.
You unlock massive amount of content & get introduced to every skill and almost every location, and end up with account ready for so many things and perfect starting place for any future goal.

Totally worth starting

osrs if u want to grind and think your a somebody like these other nerds someday
otherwise rs3 for afk or fun interaction but it means nothing and u could probably spend 100$ and get the same shit if not more instantly

from teh oppisite standpoint of them

start as an iron.
I thought I knew this game pre iron.
playing an iron taught me the actual game, and its rewarding.
I dont get to play as much as I did when i first started the account. but its a lot of fun.
there are plenty of guides out there to help you out along your way,
