The EoC update honestly didn't hit me as hard as a lot of those who switched to OSRS
I actually enjoy the different attack animations, as opposed to the same speed same animation hit every single time
I've always been too lazy to flick prayers, so that doesn't bother me either
Higher quality graphics are a plus for me, though it does result in slower release of new content
OSRS had a horrible launch full of known issues and exploits, which is the primary reason why I never stuck to it
At this point in the economy, it doesn't seem too beneficial to start from scratch just to play OSRS, but that's my opinion ofc
Nostalgia is one attraction, but you'll quickly realize that you have no clue what half of the things in there are, because they were never in the original game
I imagine it like picking up a console or handheld game that I played in elementary school, play for a couple days, and question how I thought the low quality graphics looked amazing back then
I'm on and off RS3, usually on 2-4 months/year, off the rest
Gained 12m Arch exp in 3 or 4 days during the most recent dxp event to max again for the 4th time
RS is just one of those games that you can return to after a year, or even several years, and just get right into it without feeling like you've missed much
The last 2 times I got into RS, I literally got a new job offer less than a week later

Though many clans now require 2k+ or 2.5k+ or 135+ combat to join
