Are they worth pursuing? I want to train combat doing slayer tasks and I don't have millions to spend on gear so I'm wondering if rune or dragon defenders are worth pursuing.
I'm 60/70/60 att str Def.

Defenders are for sure worth to push them tho.

You'll be fine to get Rune Defender..Dragon you will get dummied by the cyclopes they are like level 120 ish i believe.
Rune is 100% worth it though.

Should get up to dragon yes.
Depending on your bank i would recommend combat potions / prayers for gettin them as they hit alot when gettin the dragon one.

I usually use super attack + super strength when facing op monsters. But they still hit a lot!

I guess I'll be grinding my way through the defenders. I haven't found even the bronze one yet

Always. Pretty much best shield slot items for slayer.
