I started osrs this week and I wanted to understand if I should be playing on the normal client or a different one.

I see people with screen shots saying runelite and looked it up to find out it was a client.

Should I be using this over the jagx one?

Just looking for some tips!

Use runelite. Its completely compliant with jagex rules, so all good there. The features runelite offers makes the game far better

Yeah runelite or openosrs, openosrs has some plug ins that are "bannable" but yeah vanilla client is pretty meh

how do I get better fps?

I noticed this game is nuked at 50fps or so but not sure why with my computer set up...

Can I fix that in runelite?

50 fps is the max for this game

Is there anything I should change in the settings bar or should I leave it the same when I first use the client?

Not really sure what is on by default but the only plug in I can think of that really changed anything significantly is the GPU plug in, makes it so you can see further distance and looks a little better. Other then that no not really. I love your sig btw

Yeah I just found the gpu setting :3 it looks a lot better! I read that makes it a ban-able offense if there is enhanced graphics that give a player an advantage... does the runelite anti aliasing and draw distance count or?

They can't even control bots let alone overlays and gpu tweaks lol
