I quit when EoC came around.. As my 95+ pray/slayer/herb etc was all for nothing. Thinking of trying out the new rs, or osrs.. Unsure. I definitely don't have the time to grind like I used to, but I've spent months searching for a decent game with little or no microtransactions. They don't make games like they used to, that's for sure

OSRS is great, the early game isn't nearly as tedious as it used to be, doesn't take long at all to progress
even little grinds here and htere
and when you do make it to mid-end game there is a ton of content

I recommend trying OSRS. It does take grinding but since they released mobile app you can play a little here and there all day and it adds up.

I go with an ironman and pure, ironman is my main and pure is for fun and 2nd account to play on while I grind iron.

Gonna start my main back up on rs3 I guess. Still have fcape rapier and fighter hat. Max cmb

I forget what gear to use but I was maging the 95 slayer ones rofl. Gonna have to touch up on the best/most profitable way to spend my time

Oof that’s one way to go about it, should make an ironman to play on the side and knock some of the afk stuff out so when you realize Rs3 sucks you have something to look forward to on OSRS 😜

rs3 is actually fun if you give it an honest go.
if you really like to grind ages for stuff then osrs is for you

I haven't played OSRS in years ( not knocking it, just the truth ) , RS3 is very fun in all honesty.
The biggest drawback is the fact that the effects of botting / past mistakes does still linger in the game.
OSRS's advantage lies in the fact that they have learned from all of RS3's mistakes and seem to implement things in an intelligent way.
RS3 sort of has old baggage laying around that no one wants to claim.

With that being said, Ironman is definitely a plus. RS3 ironman is great, since you avoid a lot of the economical issues.
