Would doing Morte key for items be a good way to level it?

for invention training? just augment some equipment like sunspear (if you're poor) and ganodermic armor and just diss'd them training somewhere like ganos

I'm most likely the richest person on this forum and most likely even more since the break, but I have always used skills to build other skills.
