I'm curious to see if anyone here owns or has used Orlando Smith's hat. Any idea on how often it procs? Anyone know street value? I'm considering stack 1k caskets and buying it to test its effectiveness and thought I'd ask for some insight before I spend all that time.

Orland Smith's hard is "heros item" (one of three in game) it is a possible drop from master clue scroll caskets only while wearing luck of the dwarfs or hazelmere's ring. It has a chance to automatically spawn a casket 1 tier lower when worn while opening caskets (example free elite casket from opening a master clue).

Well if i was you i would check the rs forum to check the price of it.
You can see if the price droppes like 30m the last month then you need to get caskets over that value for when you sell etc. So you wont lose money. However if its same price for ages then buy and see how it Works 😀

It is only worth it if you do a LOT of clue scrolls to offset the cost. If you are only doing a few clue scrolls a week its not worth it but if you are able to do 100+ a month with a majority of those being elite/master then it is most definitely worth it.

just looked into it. there used to be a post on forum with hsr / tavia rod / orlando smith but seems like they closed it.
however i guess unico is right. if you do plenty clues it may be worth it.
also you can always resell. it ain't like it's gonna drop in price or atleast if it does it's very lil

True, thanks for the info and trying to look into I it. I think I'll get 1k caskets then buy it and test its probability of procing myself, will take me awhile to get that many I'm sure, but I'll make a thread of me opening once I do.
