yes, other tasks will give you them. Do you have superiors unlocked as well? Try to do all tasks in the kourend dunge that you can until you have a bit of charges built up/totems.

make sure to bring smaller pieces of totems with you as you can only have 3 pieces until u make the full totems

I typically only use arch for demonic gorillas and skitizo. when I start having a pretty big surplus, i'll use it on my abby demon tasks.

I personally only use at gorillas sire(till completion) and zammy tho now I have a ton more shards than what I"ll ever use

You really need a stockpile before using it on every demon task because they aren't all that common, in my experience.
