Hi all!

Even though I've had a Runescape account since 2004 or so, I never played beyond combat level 20 or so, and never had a membership.
This week I decided to start a character in OSRS, discovered that I could make her an Iron Woman (which I obviously went for), and have been enjoying it. Today I decided to buy a membership for 1 month and see where it takes me.

Goals for now:
- First of all: craft some armor that makes me less squishy
- Do some quests
- Figure out how to actually progress in this game. Before today, I don't think I had ever been outside Lumbridge and Varrock.

Tips and tricks are almost welcome. :)

should look into quests.
many beginner quests like waterfall quest gives very good xp in att/str etc.
so you should look into that. bet there are many beginner guides around :)

Good luck with your goals :)

Many Ironman like to do a lot of wintertodt while they have low hp, since wines will be more than sufficient food to keep you going. But def not the most enjoyable thing to do on a new account

Id suggest doing it until atleast having the tome of fire. 50%max hit on all fire based magic spells with it

Thanks for the tips guys! I have decided to follow some noob guides so that I can get some of the initial quests done. I'm noticing that this game's quests are nowhere like other MMOs' quests -- much more running around and searching for stuff. I'm actually almost getting a Zelda vibe from this, which I really like. :)

I somehow ended up in Draynor and finished Ernest the Chicken today. Woot!

Good luck with the iron-grind! The appreciation on small things / basic items is huge since you can't get them at the G.E. :)

I brought Frank his rum. This quest was really quite fun to be honest. :)

Doing the quiz in Varrock Museum... way more boring.

Best part so far: Searching for kitties and getting a kitty in return!
