Luring is a thing that's been around for ages on Runescape. It's a great way to get money, and many people haven't been doing it right. So I'm telling you how.

So to start off luring, you need feathers. Feathers can get gotten from chickens. Kill a few chickens until you get a few 100 feathers. You can always go back for more.

You also need a fly fishing rod. Get that from any fishing store or from another player.

The next step is to find a place to lure. May I suggest Barbarian Village on the River, or in Shilo Village if you can go there.

Now you can start luring! You need 20 fishing to catch trout, and 30 fishing to get salmon. The rate at which you catch trout speeds up as you level. You may also cook your trout.

NEW: HOW TO LURE WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT:

1) Go to a place to lure. May I suggest the places I suggested earlier?
2) Look around for any passerbyers.
3) Start luring.
4) If anyone comes up to you and asks you what you are doing, say that you are bait fishing. The idiot will probably not know that you are luring, so jokes on him!

This thread is an excellent guide on luring, Personally I think it's so good it should be stickied. Tells you all you need to know to lure 100% of the time.
