Cause Jagex may still be monitoring inferno capes as closely as they have in the past so there's still a chance of getting banned.

ah i see, i havent been hearing or seeing any infernal bans for a long time. im pretty sure they kinda gave up on those

also have a friend who sold at least 20 capes in a big clan we were in over a year ago, nobody got banned for that till this day

It's basically the same as buying gp. There's always a risk but yeah a lot of people get away with it.

Jagex hasn't cared about inferno in ages.
