So It's been awhile and I just wanted to make sure that my account info was up to date and that I had it all. But when I'm browsing the settings, I don't see anything about security questions. Is that not a thing anymore? Is it only username, password, and 2fa?

I haven't attempted to recover an account in many years (cause no reason to) but I feel like answering the recovery questions is still vital.

If you wanna really secure your account, convert to jagex launcher and use two-step authentication. No one can log in unless they steal your phone with the authentication app on it

Thanks but I'm not interested in that. I just want to know if they actually got rid of security questions or if I'm just missing it.

Yeah that's what I meant, sorry. Recovery questions not security questions.

I think that's pretty dumb. Recovery questions were key for keeping your account secured.

That's only if you failed to have proper account security. The answers I have have absolutely nothing to do with the questions, so it's impossible to try and figure out what they are.

Unfortunately, after all these years, I don't believe I have the answers myself anymore. Which shouldn't be a problem if I never forget my password, but I would like to change them so I know them. But as you showed, that's not possible anymore. Which is lame.

that's not more secure than 2fa, you can get keylogged etc and then your account will NEVER be secure, because you could never change those questions.

This is a typical old people set in their ways, back in my day cars didn't have crumple zones! i'm safer without them! deal.

1. You don't just get keylogged. Pretty easy to avoid.
2. If you don't get keylogged, no one is ever going to be able to recover your account without the answers.

Also 2fa is for logging in, not recovering.

keylog isn't the only way to get the info, thats why i said etc, no need to list them all, you don't need to recover if no one can possibly steal it in the first place.
