They came out with a news post today, that after the 15th they are going to start banning people for death matching.

I don't really pvp unless I'm getting caught lacking deep wildy, but this news update doesn't sit well with me.
Like they really just caved and gave the salty ironmen plebs everything they wanted.
It's just not right.

They mean DMing as in you fight without eating and bringing cash with you, which essentially made it the duel arena v2

Not sure what ironmen have to do with it, literally does not affect us lol

Nothing to do with ironmen just trying to stop gambling/rwt.

pvp is not the same as DMing. It's all good.

Did you even read the contents? Or just saw words deathmatch and ban?

Yeah they made some promise of it won't affect normal PVP, then didn't elaborate on how.
So they are just going to switch to having more expensive gear, in their inventory instead of a cash stack.
New policy does nothing I guess.



There's some australian burnout on youtube with a big following who always makes videos complaining about non ironmen.

They did the right move there. They dont want gambling in the game with the scams/rwt/negative attention it gives to the game. If only they could crackdown that hard on botting/botfarms

Decreasing player base is almost never a good idea. Scams have nothing to do with anything, Jagex never gives a fuck if you get scammed

They are trying to ramp up bond sales, it says right in the post. " users have been rwting through dming, making it look like a dm match but really they are rwting "


And they do crack down very hard on bots. It's the private scripts that evade detection

I can understand people in the UK having no rights as we see now, but they should just limit these bans on activity to british IP addresses.
