Yes, I am in the works of writing a novel, I will not yet release any titles as of now as I do not own any copyrighted materials in relation to the titles. I am hoping my book will be published within the next 2-3 years. It is of fantasy genre, and has quite a lengthy plot. All I will say is it [as of right now] holds the undistinguished mind of a older elven character. An old man of sorts who has a shapely history. No more will be said.

Sounds cool, I thought about writing a book over the summer not necessarily for making money but kick and giggles and it’s a cool thing to say you have done. But I don’t think I have the discipline and would get off track when trying to write it.

Does your book have a few influences from the Diablo II lore or lores of other games you liked?

I am currently experiencing 'writer's block', I am actually going to continue writing pretty soon, whenever I get the chance. It's something I like to do in free time, etc.



The only influence from Diablo II I could see making it into my book would have to be the Dark Wanderer, although I see a lot of The Lord of the Rings (despite the ring) in Diablo. Although for my book, I am trying to make it as original as possible. The 'Dark Wanderer' will of course be in a different shadow, and I just think they're cool for darker characters.

For anyone else reading this, if you have any ideas for a dark character feel free to post.

i've been on-and-off writing a story for about a year and a half. although it has nothing to do with fantasy genre, i'm told its pretty cool.
it's kind of a cliche (this is what amercia will be like in 20 years) thing but w/e i started it in my junior year of highschool which is more than most people can say at that point.
anyway, good to see people on this forum doing something productive. good luck with the publication.

Thank you all for the posts. I am actually going to be a junior this coming year in highschool, so maybe it'll be done by my senior year or by the end of it, hopefully. At any rate I don't think it can be published if you're under 18 anyways, unless I'm mistaken?

Once I started to write a novel, but never finished it. Rather published some history related books (my 5th book will release in October in this year) It is a Hungarian fighter squadron's history.
